Most credit card companies and financial institutions don't facilitate business with cannabis dispensaries and pharmacies because the drug remains illegal at the federal level. That means most transactions at cannabis-oriented businesses have been handled with cash payments. But some Utah cannabis pharmacies are now accepting payments via the "Hypur" app, which is similar to Venmo.
